Respite care

Take time for yourself, knowing they’re in good hands

A CareQuilt caregiver steps in at home so you can work, rest, run errands, or simply switch off for a few hours. Our caregivers and care managers keep you updated, so you always know how things are going without having to ask.

For families

You can't fully care for them if you're running on empty

Helping someone through dementia, recovery, or declining health is a lot of work. You handle the medication schedules and the personal care, and you watch every day for signs that something has changed. Do that without a break and exhaustion sets in, and exhaustion is when things get missed. Respite care gives you time to recharge while a trained caregiver keeps their routine, their care, and their safety on track. Taking care of yourself is part of taking care of them.

Trusted respite home care

Stepping away is easier when you trust who's stepping in

Most home care is a staffing problem solved by a scheduler. Someone is sent, the hours are filled, and the rest is yours to manage. Managed care means somebody is responsible for the whole picture, not just a shift.

Their routine, their way

The caregiver follows the day your parent already has.

A familiar face, every time
You'll know how it went
It was all hands on deck for a while when my mom had a fall, and having our CareQuilt PSWs join the team made things so much more manageable. Mom is now walking, driving a bit, has recovered from her hand injury, and now baking almost every day. CareQuilt PSWs were a integral part of that recovery journey. Thank you.
